Usage & Safety Instructions for Electronic RelaxoPet Products
The following instructions apply to all electronic RelaxoPet products, especially RelaxoPet PRO, RelaxoPet EASY, and structurally identical or comparable models. They are intended for the safe and proper use of the products.
1. Intended Use
RelaxoPet products are electronic relaxation devices for animals (especially dogs) which, through specially developed sound and vibration impulses, can contribute to promoting calm and relaxation.
The products are not medical devices and do not replace veterinary diagnosis, treatment, or therapy.
2. No Promise of Healing or Success
The use of RelaxoPet products does not replace a veterinary examination nor behavioral medical advice.
A concrete success, a specific effect, or a permanent change in behavior cannot be guaranteed, as the animal's reaction varies individually.
3. Responsibility of the Pet Owner
The pet owner remains responsible for the animal at all times during use. The product may only be used taking into account the individual health condition and behavior of the animal.
In case of known illnesses, acute discomfort, pregnancy, epilepsy, cardiovascular diseases, or unusual behavior, consultation with a veterinarian is recommended before use.
4. Use and Supervision
The product must be placed exclusively out of the animal's reach and must not be used as a toy.
The animal must not come into direct contact with the product unsupervised, especially not with cables, connectors, or housing parts.
5. Electrical Safety
The product may only be operated with the intended or a technically equivalent power supply unit and the intended connection types.
Damaged cables, housings, or electronic components must not be reused. In this case, the product must be taken out of operation.
6. Environmental Conditions
The product is intended exclusively for use in dry indoor environments.
It must not be exposed to moisture, water, extreme temperatures, direct sunlight or mechanical stress.
7. Hygiene and Cleaning
Before each cleaning, the product must be disconnected from the mains.
Cleaning must only be carried out with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Chemical cleaning agents, disinfectants, or aggressive substances are not permitted.
8. Disclaimer for Misuse
Liability for damages resulting from improper use, non-observance of these instructions, modifications to the product, or use contrary to the intended purpose is excluded, to the extent permitted by law.
9. Combination with Other Products
Simultaneous use with other electronic devices or accessories that have not been expressly approved by us, is at the user's own risk.
10. Decommissioning
The product must be taken out of operation if it shows visible damage, unusual noises, odors, or malfunctions.
In this case, the product must not be used further.
11. Disposal
Electronic RelaxoPet products must not be disposed of with household waste.
Disposal must be carried out in accordance with the applicable legal regulations for electrical and electronic equipment.
